...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL LOWNDES AND
NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 923 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pintlala, or 7 miles east of Hayneville, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Montgomery, Hayneville, Hunter, Dannelly Field, Maxwell Air Force
Base, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Alabama State University, Montgomery
Riverwalk Stadium, Hope Hull, Woodcrest, and Alabama State Capitol.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
