...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT
FOR LEE COUNTY...

At 633 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of
Bishopville, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         trees and powerlines.

Locations impacted include...
Lee State Park, Elliott, Lynchburg, Ashwood, Manville, St. Charles,
Spring Hill, Wisacky, and Woodrow.

This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers
116 and 126.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Persons in campgrounds should seek shelter until this storm passes.
