...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE
MONDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and
  waves 6 to 11 ft possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Lake Superior.

* WHEN...From late Sunday night through late Monday night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blizzard conditions will be possible as a
  prolonged period of snowfall impacts western Lake Superior.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
