This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Warm temperatures, strong winds, and low relative humidities will
combine to result in a high threat of grass fires today, mainly
over northwest Illinois.

Scattered storms are expected tonight, mainly south of I-80. Small
hail is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

A storm system will bring multiple rounds of thunderstorms from
Wednesday night through Thursday. These thunderstorms may be strong
to severe, especially along and south of U.S. Highway 34. The
threat Wednesday night will generally be frequent lightning and
hail potential. For Thursday, storms that develop in the afternoon
hours will have the potential to generate all hazards.
