Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Only a few patches of mid level clouds were noted across the High
Plains this afternoon, as sunny sky drove temperatures into the low
60s over the I-70 corridor, and the mid to upper 50s farther north
into the Yuma and Wray areas. Light winds over northeast Colorado
and southwest Nebraska increased eastward – to around 20 mph with
slightly higher gusts east of U.S. highway 25.

OUTLOOK...Mostly sunny conditions through the rest of the day with
highs topping out in the upper 60s will be followed by clearing sky
and temperatures crashing though the upper 30s under light and
variable wind by early morning Friday. Look for increasing highs
each day through Sunday when highs will be in the mid 80s.
