...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KIT CARSON COUNTY
THROUGH 815 PM MDT...

At 746 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles north of Bethune, or 12 miles north of Burlington, moving east
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Kit
Carson County.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 193 and 206, and near
mile marker 211.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for
east central Colorado.
