THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST
WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

A MAJOR LATE WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN AND PARTS OF
CENTRAL WISCONSIN FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.
THE SNOW WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES OVER THE FAR NORTH WITH SNOWFALL
RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR POSSIBLE. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
OF 8 TO 14 INCHES ARE EXPECTED IN THE FAR NORTH...3 TO 6 INCHES
OVER NORTH-CENTRAL AND FAR NORTHEAST WISCONSIN. A MIX OF RAIN AND
SNOW OVER CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING WILL
LIKELY CHANGE BACK TO ALL SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT...WHICH WILL LEAD TO
LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS. REGARDLESS...TRAVEL IS EXPECTED TO BECOME
DIFFICULT ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA NORTH AND WEST OF THE FOX
VALLEY. BE SURE TO MONITOR LATER FORECASTS IF YOU WILL BE
TRAVELING ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON OVER NORTH CENTRAL
AND FAR NORTHEAST WISCONSIN...BUT ROADWAYS WILL CONTINUE TO BE
SNOW COVERED AND HAZARDOUS FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE.

THE COOLER WEATHER WILL SLOW THE MELTING OF ANY REMAINING SNOW
ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN. HOWEVER...MANY AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS
REMAIN SWOLLEN FROM THE PRECIPITATION THAT FELL OVER THE WEEKEND.
ANYONE LIVING NEAR A RIVER OR STREAM SHOULD CONTINUE TO CLOSELY
MONITOR WATER LEVELS.
