NEARSHORE WATERS FROM WASHINGTON ISLAND TO STURGEON BAY...
OPEN WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN FROM ROCK ISLAND PASSAGE TO STURGEON
BAY...

AT 1223 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS AND HALF
INCH HAIL. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING
FROM NEAR ROCK ISLAND TO SHERWOOD POINT LIGHT...MOVING EAST AT 40
KNOTS.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
