...THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE WATERS...

THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

  NEARSHORE AND OPEN WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN FROM STURGEON BAY TO
  SHEBOYGAN...

AT 108 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM...CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS AND SMALL HAIL 5 NM SOUTHWEST OF
KEWAUNEE PIERHEAD LIGHT...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 KNOTS. OTHER
THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED ACROSS THE OPEN WATERS AS WELL.

THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE NEARSHORE AND
OPEN WATERS OF LAKE MICHIGAN EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...SMALL HAIL...LOCALLY
HIGHER WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. BOATERS
SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.
