.NOW...
...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH RATHER HUMID
CONDITIONS EXPECTED FOR THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE AREA
LATE THIS AFTERNOON. AT 445 PM...THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WERE MOST
NUMEROUS TO THE SOUTH OF A LINE FROM WISCONSIN RAPIDS...TO
WAUPACA...TO APPLETON...TO MANITOWOC...AND MORE SCATTERED TO
THE NORTH. THE SHOWERS AND STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 30 MPH...SO
THE MORE CONCENTRATED AREA OF RAIN IN CENTRAL AND EAST-CENTRAL
WISCONSIN WILL SHIFT NORTH ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA DURING
THE REMAINDER OF THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THE STRONGER
SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS...AND COULD
RESULT IN LOCALIZED HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

ANYONE TRAVELING LATE TODAY SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF
ENCOUNTERING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL
AND GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITY. PONDING OF WATER IN LOW-SPOTS ON
ROADWAYS AND PARKING LOTS IS ALSO POSSIBLE DUE TO THE HEAVY RAIN.
USE EXTRA CAUTION...ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN HEAVY HOLIDAY
WEEKEND TRAFFIC ON THE HIGHWAY.

TEMPERATURES AT MOST LOCATIONS WILL REMAIN IN THE UPPER 60S TO
LOWER 70S THROUGH 700 PM. THE EXCEPTION WILL BE THE LAKE MICHIGAN
SHORELINE...WHERE EAST WINDS WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES IN THE LOWER
TO MIDDLE 50S.

THE SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH LATE THIS EVENING.
MOISTURE FROM THE RAIN COULD RESULT IN THE FORMATION OF FOG
OVERNIGHT.
