.NOW...
LINGERING MOISTURE IN THE LOW LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE CAUSED FOG
TO FORM ACROSS THE AREA OVERNIGHT. THE VISIBILITY ACROSS MOST OF
THE AREA WAS 1/4 MILE OR GREATER...WHICH IS SUFFICIENT TO SAFELY
TRAVEL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. BUT THERE WERE SOME PATCHES OF THICKER
FOG...WHICH WILL REQUIRE MOTORISTS TO SLOW DOWN AND DRIVE WITH
EXTRA CAUTION.

WHEN DRIVING IN FOG...ALWAYS USE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS AND BE SURE
TO REDUCE YOUR SPEED TO THE POINT WHERE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SAFELY
STOP IF YOU ENCOUNTER AN OBJECT OR ANIMAL ON THE ROAD.
VISIBILITIES SHOULD GRADUALLY IMPROVE...AND THE FOG SHOULD BE GONE
COMPLETELY BY MID TO LATE MORNING.
