...2016 WILL GO DOWN IN THE RECORDS WARMER AND WETTER THAN NORMAL...

The average temperature in 2016 will go down in the record books as
5th warmest year on record. Precipitation ended up above normal,
especially across north-central Wisconsin where Rhinelander set a
new yearly precipitation record of 42.86 inches. The old record was
42.42 inches set in 1911.
