Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin

A quick moving area of rain has spread northeast across the
region overnight. Rainfall has mainly been light, but a few
heavier showers have developed at times with a few rumbles of
thunder also being observed. As of 3am the heavier showers where
moving across eastern WI. Temperatures overnight dropped into the
mid 40s across the Northwoods to the mid to upper 50s in the Fox
Valley.

Rain showers will continue to move over northeast WI through mid-
morning with the area expected to turn dry by this afternoon.
High temperatures this afternoon are expected to reach the mid
50s across the north to the mid 60s in the Fox Valley. Strong
westerly winds of 20-25 mph with gusts of 30-40 mph are also
expected to develop this morning and continue through this
afternoon.

The next chance for rain will move into the area Wednesday night,
setting up a rainy Thursday. With all the recent rainfall there
are some minor flooding concerns as a few area rivers and streams
are already at or near bankfull.
