WEATHER SUMMARY FOR NORTH-CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST WISCONSIN

THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE INTENSIFIED
AS IT MOVED INTO SOUTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN. NORTHWEST OF THIS LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM...LIGHT RAIN AND AREAS OF DENSE FOG PERSISTED
ACROSS THE REGION. TEMPERATURES WERE STARTING TO FALL OVER WESTERN
WISCONSIN...AND RAIN WAS STARTING TO TURN OVER TO SNOW OVER IOWA
AND EASTERN MINNESOTA. TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 30S OVER
FAR NORTHERN WISCONSIN TO THE MIDDLE 40S AT WAUTOMA AND STURGEON BAY.

LOW PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEAST TODAY AND COLDER AIR
WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD EAST BEHIND THE SYSTEM. AS TEMPERATURES FALL...AN
ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL OCCUR ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION... STARTING
ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTH- CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS MORNING AND ACROSS
NORTHEAST AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW WILL
CONTINUE THIS EVENING BEFORE TAPERING OFF OR ENDING LATE TONIGHT
AND TUESDAY. SEVERAL INCHES ARE LIKELY ACROSS THE REGION. AREAS
OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ARE POSSIBLE LATER THIS AFTERNOON
AND NIGHT.
