Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin

Light rain was reaching the ground in portions of north- central
Wisconsin this afternoon. The rest of the area saw more clouds
move in with the exception of far eastern Wisconsin where skies
were still mostly sunny. Many record temperatures were set today,
mainly in and around the Fox Valley where highs were in the low to
mid 60s. Locations to the north were cooler under cloud cover and
stayed in the 40s.

The chance for light rain continues in northern Wisconsin through
early this evening as a band a of precip moves through. Lows
tonight will fall into the upper 20s to the north and upper 30s in
the Fox Valley and east- central Wisconsin. Temperatures on
Thursday are expected to be much cooler, but they will still be
around 10 degrees above normal.

An approaching storm system is expected to bring heavy snow and a
wintry mix to the area starting Thursday night and continuing
into Saturday. If you have travel plans, make sure to stay up to
date on the latest forecast. High temperatures this weekend
should be slightly below normal.
