Isolated showers, partly cloudy skies, and southwest winds gusting
to 30 to 40 mph prevailed across the region late this morning.
Temperatures were warming up quickly late this morning, with
readings ranging from the mid 50s to low 70s at 10 AM.

Isolated showers will continue at times today with chances for
thunderstorms increasing in east-central Wisconsin later this
afternoon and evening. A few of these storms may become strong or
severe with the potential to produce damaging winds and large
hail.

A large spread in temperatures is expected today with highs in the
60s in far north-central Wisconsin, to the mid to upper 70s in
east-central Wisconsin.

The gusty southwest winds are expected to continue today, with
gusts to 45 mph. The highest gusts will be east-central Wisconsin
where gusts up to 50 mph are possible. Winds will gradually
subside into this evening and overnight.
