...FOG...DENSE IN A FEW LOCATIONS...EXPECTED OVERNIGHT...

ANYONE TRAVELING ACROSS CENTRAL OR NORTHEAST WISCONSIN OVERNIGHT
SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF ENCOUNTERING PATCHES OF
DENSE FOG WITH VERY LOW VISIBILITIES. WHEN DRIVING IN FOG...ALWAYS
USE YOUR LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND DRIVE AT A SPEED THAT WILL
ALLOW YOU TO SAFELY STOP YOUR VEHICLE IF YOU ENCOUNTER AN ANIMAL
OR OBJECT ON THE ROAD.

THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT SNOW TO THE AREA DURING THE
PAST DAY OR SO WILL SLOWLY DRIFT NORTHEAST ACROSS CENTRAL AND
NORTHEAST WISCONSIN OVERNIGHT. WINDS NEAR THE CENTER OF THE LOW
WERE QUITE LIGHT. THE LIGHT WINDS COMBINED WITH LINGERING LOW-
LEVEL MOISTURE OVER THE FRESH SNOWCOVER WILL ALLOW FOG TO FORM.
ALTHOUGH WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG IS NOT EXPECTED...THE FOG COULD
THICKEN ENOUGH TO RESTRICT VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN 1/4 MILE AT A
FEW LOCATIONS. THE CHANGES IN VISIBILITY WILL POSE A HAZARD TO
MOTORISTS...SO EXTRA CAUTION WILL BE REQUIRED.
