...BRIEF GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 50 MPH WITH RAIN SHOWERS THIS
AFTERNOON...

LOOK FOR PERIOD OF GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS TO AROUND 50 MPH THIS
AFTERNOON. THE WINDS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH BAND OF SHOWERS MOVING
NORTHWARD OVER NORTHEAST WISCONSIN. EVEN THOUGH THE SHOWERS MAY
DIMINISH BY MID AFTERNOON...THE GUSTY WINDS MAY LINGER A BIT
LONGER BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATER THIS AFTERNOON.

AT 135 PM CDT...THE WINNEBAGO COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGER REPORTED
TREE DAMAGE ALONG WITH SOME POWER OUTAGES IN THE CITY OF OSHKOSH.
ALSO AN ACCIDENT WAS OBSERVED ON THE HIGHWAY 441 BRIDGE.

BETWEEN 2 PM AND 3 PM...LOOK FOR THE BAND OF HIGHER WIND GUSTS TO
REACH THE GREEN BAY AREA...AND TOWARD THE LAKESHORE AREA BETWEEN
MANITOWOC AND KEWAUNEE.

WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.

SINCE THE GROUND IS SATURATED FROM THE RECENT HEAVY
RAINFALL...THE HIGH WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH MAY BE ENOUGH TO TOPPLE
SOME TREES.
