...SNOW SHOWERS AND BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL RESULT IN
DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS IN THE SNOWBELT TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY
MORNING...

SNOW SHOWERS OFF LAKE SUPERIOR WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE
SNOWBELT OF NORTH-CENTRAL WISCONSIN OVERNIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DIMINISH DURING THE MIDDLE TO
LATE MORNING HOURS. IN ADDITION TO THE SNOW SHOWERS...GUSTY WEST
WINDS WILL PRODUCE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE SNOW. AS A
RESULT...DIFFICULT TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TONIGHT. WIND
CHILL INDICES ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM ZERO TO 10 BELOW
THROUGH MID-MORNING TUESDAY.

AT 930 PM...SNOW WAS FALLING OVER MOST OF VILAS COUNTY. THE SNOW
HAD INCREASED DURING THE PAST COUPLE HOURS. THE SNOW WILL
CONTINUE OVERNIGHT...AND IS EXPECTED TO BE HEAVY AT TIMES...MAINLY
IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY.

THE SNOW SHOWERS WERE LIKELY AFFECTING FAR NORTHERN ONEIDA AND
FOREST COUNTIES AS WELL. SNOW SHOWERS MAY AFFECT OTHER LOCATIONS
IN NORTH-CENTRAL WISCONSIN AS WELL...BUT ONLY A MINOR ACCUMULATION
IS EXPECTED OUTSIDE OF THE SNOWBELT.
