...GUSTY WINDS AND LIGHT SNOW COULD CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL TODAY...

GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING AS LIGHT SNOW
SPREADS FROM NORTHWEST TO SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION. EVEN THOUGH
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AN INCH OR LESS IN MOST
PLACES...ROADS MAY BECOME SLICK. IN ADDITION...WINDS GUSTING TO
25 TO 35 MPH WILL CAUSE PATCHY BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...
ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS. MOTORISTS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR
THE MORNING COMMUTE...AS SLICK ROADWAYS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES
MAY RESULT IN LOCALLY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

THE STRONGEST WINDS AND MOST SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW
WILL OCCUR IN OPEN AREAS AND ALSO NEAR THE BAY AND LAKE. IN
PARTICULAR...TRAVELING CONDITIONS COULD BECOME DIFFICULT DUE TO
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE DOOR PENINSULA
WHEN WINDS SHIFT TO THE WEST AND NORTHWEST THIS AFTERNOON. ICE
FISHERMAN ON GREEN BAY AND LAKE WINNEBAGO COULD ALSO FIND IT VERY
DIFFICULT TO BE OUT ON THE ICE TODAY.
