...LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING...

The latest reports from the Wisconsin Department of
Transportation indicated that roads were snow covered and
slippery in Vilas county early this morning.

Lake effect snow showers are expected to continue through midday,
then gradually taper off in the afternoon. Additional
accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible in northwest Vilas
county, with lesser amounts farther southeast.

Motorists should be prepared for hazardous travel conditions due
to reduced visibilities and snow covered roads. If you have
travel plans this morning, slow down and allow extra time to
reach your destination.
