...PATCHY DENSE FOG EXPECTED TO CONTINUE UNTIL MID-MORNING...

FOG WAS FAIRLY WIDESPREAD ACROSS THE AREA AT DAYBREAK...BUT THE
VISIBILITY AT MOST LOCATIONS WAS AT LEAST ONE MILE. THAT IS
SUFFICIENT TO ALLOW FOR SAFE TRAVEL AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. BUT THE FOG
WAS MUCH THICKER AND REDUCING THE VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN 1/4 MILE
IN SOME PLACES. THE PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL PERSIST UNTIL MID-
MORNING...AND REQUIRE MOTORISTS TO USE EXTRA CAUTION TO REMAIN
SAFE.

ANYONE TRAVELING THIS MORNING SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY
OF ENCOUNTERING DENSE FOG...AND ALLOW A LITTLE EXTRA TRAVEL TIME
TO REACH THEIR DESTINATION. WHEN DRIVING IN FOG...BE SURE TO DRIVE
AT A SPEED THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO TO SAFELY STOP IF YOU ENCOUNTER
AN OBJECT OR ANIMAL ON THE ROAD. ALWAYS USE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS
WHEN DRIVING IN FOG.
