...STEADY LIGHT SNOW EXPECTED TODAY...

A steady light snow will continue through the day, with
additional accumulations of 1 to 3 inches expected through 6 pm.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for this area and motorists
should exercise caution during the morning and evening commutes.

...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW EXPECTED TODAY AND EARLY TONIGHT...

Light to occasionally moderate snow will continue through this
evening across the Fox Valley and bayshore areas. The remnants of
a weakening lake enhanced snow band will impact the bayshore and
eastern Fox Valley regions during the mid to late morning.
Additional accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected through 6
pm. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for this area and
motorists should exercise caution during the morning and evening
commutes.

...HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING...

A band of heavy lake-enhanced snow, with snowfall rates of 1 to 2
inches an hour, will steadily shift west through the southern
part of Door county early this morning. Visibilities in this heavy
snow band will drop to one quarter mile at times. Additional
accumulations of 1 to 2 inches north, and 2 to 4 inches with local
higher amounts south, are anticipated through 9 am. A Winter
Storm Warning is in effect for Door county, and motorists are
urged to exercise caution when traveling. Roads will be snow
covered and slippery, and visibilities will be poor. Secondary
roads may be impassable in parts of northern Door county, where
more than a foot of snow fell overnight.

...HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW EXPECTED THIS MORNING...

A band of heavy lake-enhanced snow over Kewaunee and far northeast
Manitowoc counties will gradually shift southwest this morning.
Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches an hour are possible at times,
along with visibilities as low as one quarter mile. Additional
accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with local 6 inch amounts, are
expected through midday. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for
this area and motorists should exercise caution when traveling,
as roads will be snow covered and slippery, and visibilities
will be poor.
