...DENSE FOG LIKELY TO HAMPER TRAVEL AT TIMES THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING...

FOG WILL PERSIST ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA EARLY THIS EVENING...BUT
VISIBILITIES SHOULD REMAIN SUFFICIENT TO HAVE A LIMITED IMPACT ON
TRAVEL. VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY TO DECREASE DURING THE
NIGHT...RESULTING IN MUCH MORE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

FOG WAS WIDESPREAD ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN EARLY
THIS EVENING. THERE WAS LITTLE FOG FARTHER TO THE EAST...WHERE
VISIBILITIES GENERALLY ALLOWED FOR SAFE TRAVEL AT THE POSTED SPEED
LIMIT.

THE ARRIVAL OF INCREASINGLY MOIST AIR OVER THE SNOW-COVERED
GROUND...ALONG WITH DIMINISHING WINDS...WILL LIKELY CAUSE
VISIBILITIES TO DECREASE TONIGHT. AS A RESULT...TRAVEL CONDITIONS
WILL BECOME MUCH MORE HAZARDOUS TONIGHT...AS VISIBILITIES DROP TO
LESS THAN 1/4 MILE. VISIBILITIES AS LOW AS A FEW HUNDRED FEET ARE
POSSIBLE AT TIMES. OCCASIONAL DRIZZLE IS ALSO EXPECTED TO DEVELOP.

USE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS WHEN DRIVING IN FOG. ALWAYS DRIVE AT A
SPEED THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO SAFELY STOP YOUR VEHICLE IF YOU
ENCOUNTER AN ANIMAL OR OBJECT ON THE ROAD.

THE SNOW COVER IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO MELT OVERNIGHT. AS A
RESULT...VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY TO IMPROVE ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL
AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN BY LATE SUNDAY MORNING. CONDITIONS MAY
BE SLOWER TO IMPROVE ACROSS THE NORTH...WHERE A DEEPER SNOW COVER
IS IN PLACE.
