...WINTRY PRECIPITATION LIKELY TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS TUESDAY EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING...

A STORM SYSTEM IS FORECAST TO PRODUCE ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS
NORTHERN WISCONSIN...AND A WINTRY MIX INCLUDING SNOW...FREEZING
RAIN...AND SLEET ACROSS CENTRAL AND EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN LATE
TUESDAY EVENING INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION
IS FORECAST TO MOVE SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ACROSS THE AREA BETWEEN 10 PM
TUESDAY EVENING AND 9 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING.

THERE IS STILL UNCERTAINTY CONCERNING THE TRACK OF THE
SYSTEM...ALONG WITH TEMPERATURES AT AND JUST ABOVE THE SURFACE...
WHICH WILL DETERMINE SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN AMOUNTS ALONG WITH THE
TYPE OF PRECIPITATION. EARLY INDICATIONS ARE THAT 3 TO 5 INCHES OF
SNOW MAY FALL ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL INTO NORTHEAST WISCONSIN
WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN FOX VALLEY AND THE
LAKESHORE REGION OF MANITOWOC AND KEWAUNEE COUNTIES. SOME LIGHT
ICING IS POSSIBLE WITH AMOUNTS LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH ACROSS
CENTRAL AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

THE ACCUMULATING SNOW AND MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL LEAD TO POOR
TRAVEL CONDITIONS. IF YOU HAVE TRAVEL PLANS TUESDAY EVENING INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING...BE SURE TO STAY UP TO DATE ON THE LATEST
FORECAST AND PLAN FOR EXTRA TRAVEL TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION.
