...THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...

At 1112 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were moving across eastern
sections of Iron and Price counties moving east at 35 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms as they move into north central Wisconsin.

Locations impacted include...
Rhinelander, Eagle River, Merrill, Lac Du Flambeau, Tomahawk, Phelps,
Boulder Junction, Woodboro, Winchester and Squirrel Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
