...PATCHY DENSE FOG EASTERN WISCONSIN...

LINGERING MOISTURE COMBINED WITH LIGHT WINDS HAS ALLOWED PATCHY
FOG TO FORM IN EASTERN WISCONSIN. THE FOG WAS REDUCING THE
VISIBILITY TO BELOW 1/4 MILE IN A FEW PLACES...ESPECIALLY NEAR
LAKE MICHIGAN. THE PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL POSE A HAZARD TO EARLY
MORNING MOTORISTS.

IF YOU ARE TRAVELING EARLY THIS MORNING...BE PREPARED FOR THE
POSSIBILITY OF ENCOUNTERING LOCALIZED DENSE FOG BANKS. WHEN
ENCOUNTERING DENSE FOG...SLOW YOUR VEHICLE TO THE POINT WHERE YOU
WILL BE ABLE TO SAFELY STOP IF YOU ENCOUNTER AN OBJECT OR ANIMAL
ON THE ROADWAY. ALWAYS USE LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHTS WHEN DRIVING IN
FOG.

THE FOG WILL PERSIST THROUGH DAYBREAK...AND SHOULD DISSIPATE BY
900 AM.
