...NARROW BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACROSS PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST AND EAST-CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS MORNING...

AT 735 AM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A NARROW BAND OF MODERATE TO
HEAVY SNOW FROM METZ TO ALLENVILLE AND TO NEENAH IN WINNEBAGO
COUNTY. THE BAND OF HEAVY SNOW THEN EXTENDED ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL
SECTIONS OF LAKE WINNEBAGO TO STOCKBRIDGE AND CHILTON IN CALUMET
COUNTY...AND THEN TO COLLINS...VALDERS AND NEWTON IN MANITOWOC
COUNTY. THE BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WAS MOVING TO THE
SOUTHEAST AROUND 10 MPH.

THIS BAND OF SNOW WILL PRODUCE VISIBILITIES OF ONE MILE OR LESS...
AND AT TIMES DOWN TO AROUND A QUARTER OF A MILE. SNOWFALL RATES
OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS BAND. SOME
LOCATIONS COULD PICK UP A QUICK INCH OR TWO. ROADS WILL BECOME
SNOW COVERED AND SLICK. MOTORIST ON HIGHWAY 41 WILL ENCOUNTER
MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW FOR THE MORNING COMMUTE TO WORK IN WINNEBAGO
COUNTY. THE BAND OF SNOW WILL AFFECT CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN SECTIONS
OF WINNEBAGO...CALUMET AND MANITOWOC COUNTIES THROUGH 830 AM.
