...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH OR END
OVERNIGHT...

The latest road report from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation
indicated roads across north-central and far northeast Wisconsin
were snow covered and slippery. Light to moderate snow will
gradually diminish and then end for most overnight. The exception
will be across far north-central and far northeast Wisconsin where
lake effect snow showers will linger through Saturday morning.

Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with locally
higher amounts of 3 to 5 inches are possible across northwest Vilas
county due to lake enhancement.

Motorists should be prepared for hazardous travel conditions due
to reduced visibilities or snow covered roads. If you have travel
plans for the remainder of tonight, slow down and allow extra time
to reach your destination.

...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS
INTO EARLY SATURDAY MORNING...

Light snow will continue to overspread the Fox Valley, Kewaunee
and Manitowoc counties for the remainder of the evening. Motorist
can expect roads to become snow covered and slippery which will
continue into early Saturday morning. Snow will gradually taper
off or ending towards or around sunrise. Most locations should
see 2 to 4 inches of snow, with 3 to 5 inches possible across
Door county.

Gusty winds are expected to develop toward or around sunrise
Saturday morning along the Highway/Interstate 41 corridor east
to Lake Michigan. Wind gusts over 30 mph are possible which will
create areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Motorists should be prepared for travel conditions to worsen
due to reduced visibilities and snow covered roads. If you have
travel plans for the rest of tonight, slow down and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
