...SNOW...POSSIBLY MIXED WITH RAIN AT TIMES...EXPECTED TODAY...

.A BROAD AREA OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS
SOUTHERN WISCONSIN TODAY. SNOW...AND A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL
OCCUR NORTH OF THE TRACK OF THE LOW. TEMPERATURES NEAR FREEZING
WILL RESULT IN A HEAVY WET SNOW...WHICH WILL MAKE ROADS SLUSHY AND
SLIPPERY.

EVENING...

* OCCASIONAL LIGHT SNOW EARLY...WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD AND
  INCREASE IN INTENSITY LATER THIS MORNING AND CONTINUE INTO THE
  AFTERNOON.

* MODERATE SNOW IS EXPECTED IN A BAND ROUGHLY FROM MARSHFIELD AND
  STEVENS POINT...THROUGH WAUSAU...TO WAUSAUKEE FOR THE MORNING
  COMMUTE. THE HEAVIER SNOW WILL THEN GRADUALLY SHIFT INTO
  NORTHERN WISCONSIN BY LATE THIS MORNING.

* THE SNOW WILL START TO DIMINISH DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON.

* STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL OF 3 TO 6 INCHES IS EXPECTED BY THIS
  EVENING.

* HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE TODAY IN THE ADVISORY AREA.
