URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...FREEZING RAIN LIKELY TO RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS
TONIGHT...

.Periods of rain and freezing rain will impact northern Wisconsin
tonight into early Friday morning. The freezing rain will result
in icing of roads, sidewalks and other outdoor surfaces. Hazardous
travel conditions will be likely in some areas.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT FRIDAY...

* TIMING...Freezing rain will be possible through early Friday
  morning, especially over far northern Wisconsin.

* ICE ACCUMULATION...Ice accumulations of one-tenth to two-tenths
  of an inch are expected on outdoor surfaces, especially along
  and north of Highway 8, which runs from Rhinelander to Crandon
  to Pembine. Generally less than 1/10 of an inch of ice is
  expected farther south.

* IMPACTS...The ice will result in difficult travel conditions on
  untreated roads, including during the morning commute on Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads...
and use caution while driving. The latest Wisconsin road
conditions can be obtained by calling 511.
