URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL CAUSE SLIPPERY ROADS IN NORTH CENTRAL
WISCONSIN...

.A mixture of freezing rain, sleet and snow will impact north
central Wisconsin overnight into Thursday morning. A tenth to two
tenths of an inch of ice accumulation is possible, mainly on
elevated surfaces and vehicles. Snow accumulations could reach 1
to 2 inches. Roads may be slick for the Thursday morning commute,
so motorists should plan accordingly.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO NOON CDT
THURSDAY...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for mixed precipitation, which is in effect from
4 AM to noon CDT Thursday.

* TIMING...Although patchy freezing drizzle is expected before 4
  am, the greatest threat of freezing rain and sleet will occur
  late tonight into early Thursday morning. Precipitation will mix
  with or change to snow Thursday morning.

* ICE/SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Ice accumulations of a tenth to two
  tenths of an inch are possible, especially on elevated surfaces.
  Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible, along with
  some sleet.

* MAIN IMPACT...Roads will become slippery late tonight into
  Thursday morning. The morning commute ot work and school will be
  impacted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.  Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.  The latest Wisconsin road conditions can be obtained by
calling 511.
