...SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO AFFECT THE DRIVE HOME FROM WORK AND SCHOOL...

.RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST TODAY AS A STORM
SYSTEM INTENSIFIES TO THE NORTHEAST OF WISCONSIN. THE RAIN SHOULD CHANGE
TO SNOW IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN AROUND NOON AND IN THE NORTHEAST AND EAST
CENTRAL PARTS OF THE STATE BY EVENING. TWO TO 3 INCHES MAY ACCUMULATE
BY EVENING OVER CENTRAL WISCONSIN WITH AN INCH OR TWO IN EAST CENTRAL
WISCONSIN.

THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING AND TAPER OFF LATE TONIGHT. TOTAL
ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ROUGHLY SOUTH OF A WISCONSIN
RAPIDS TO WASHINGTON ISLAND LINE. ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE
LIKELY FURTHER NORTH. ADDITIONAL SNOW FROM LAKE EFFECT SNOWFALL IS POSSIBLE
IN VILAS COUNTY. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL PRODUCE BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW IN MOST AREAS TONIGHT.
