...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO
9 AM CDT FRIDAY...

The National Weather Service in Green Bay has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for mixed precipitation, which is in effect from
10 PM this evening to 9 AM CDT Friday.

* TIMING...Temperatures will drop enough for rain to begin
freezing on outdoor surfaces late this evening. The icing will
  continue until mid-morning Friday.

* ICE ACCUMULATION...A layer of ice one-tenth to two-tenths of an
inch thick is expected on outdoor surfaces...especially along
and north of Highway 8 which runs from Rhinelander to Crandon to
Pembine. Less than 1/10 of an inch of ice is expected to the
  south.

* IMPACTS...The ice will result in difficult travel conditions on
untreated roads...including during the morning commute on
  Friday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of freezing rain and
some sleet will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving. The latest Wisconsin road conditions can be obtained by
calling 511.
