Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI
333 PM EDT Wed May 1 2024

...Decreasing Winds This Evening...

.DISCUSSION...The mixing height will lower this evening while
the low level jet tracks away from the region. This will support
decreasing winds across the zones. More in the way of clouds
and moisture advection will be underway Thursday. We could even
see some afternoon showers then. A better chance for rain arrives
Thursday night as some storms may try to roll in from the west.
