...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MONTGOMERY...SOUTHERN
SAN JACINTO...SOUTHWESTERN POLK AND SOUTHEASTERN WALKER COUNTIES
THROUGH 515 AM CDT...

At 425 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Willis, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Conroe, Willis, Shepherd, Panorama Village, Coldspring, Lake
Livingston State Park, southwestern West Livingston, and Evergreen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
