A surface trough will develop north of the islands tonight and Thursday, then pivot over the state Friday through the weekend. The trough will dampen and shift west of the islands early next week as high pressure builds to the distant northeast. $$ Hawaiian waters within 40 nautical miles including the channels- .REST OF TONIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet. Wave Detail: East 4 feet at 7 seconds. Isolated showers. .THURSDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 4 to 5 feet. Wave Detail: East 3 feet at 7 seconds and south southwest 3 feet at 17 seconds. Scattered showers. .THURSDAY NIGHT...East to southeast winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming variable Kauai waters.
