...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN SEDGWICK AND SOUTHWESTERN BUTLER COUNTIES...

At 655 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles northeast of
Rose Hill, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Wichita, Derby, Andover, Haysville, Augusta, Mulvane, Rose Hill,
Douglass, Mcconnell Air Force Base, South Wichita, Santa Fe Lake,
Augusta Municipal Airport, and Oaklawn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
Kansas.

building.
