WEATHER SUMMARY FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS

Light to moderate snow continued to fall across locations, mainly
south of I 70, through the late evening hours. Elsewhere across the
state, cloudy skies were seen. Temperatures across the area at 9
p.m., ranged from 19 degrees at Galesburg, to 26 degrees at
Winter storm warnings and advisories had been issued for southern and
southeast Illinois, southern Missouri, and into central and southern
Indiana. A mixture of freezing rain and sleet is expected to change
over to snow tonight over southeast Illinois. Heavy snow will be
possible over southeast Illinois, with accumulations of ice to the
south through Friday.
Overnight low temperatures, will range from the teens below zero
across northwest Iowa, to near 30 degrees across western Kentucky.
High temperatures Friday, will range from near zero across northwest
Iowa, to the middle 30s across western Kentucky.
