...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Louisiana, including the following
  parishes, East Carroll, Franklin, Madison, Richland, Tensas and
  West Carroll and Mississippi, including the following counties,
  Attala, Carroll, Claiborne, Hinds, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena,
  Madison, Rankin, Sharkey, Warren and Yazoo.

* WHEN...Until 1045 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 239 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported ongoing
    flooding and lingering high water across multiple locations
    in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 5
    and 12 inches of rain have fallen over the past 2 days.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
