The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Marion County in northern Florida...

* Until 115 AM EDT.

* At 1244 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lake Weir,
  or 8 miles northwest of The Villages, moving southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Weirsdale, Ocklawaha, Lake Weir, The Village of Briar Meadow,
  Belleview, and Summerfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
