SOUTHWESTERN BEAUREGARD AND WESTERN CALCASIEU PARISHES...SOUTHWESTERN NEWTON...ORANGE AND SOUTHEASTERN JASPER COUNTIES THROUGH 930 AM CDT... At 830 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Gist, or near Mauriceville, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include...
