FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS....A large area of high pressure averaging 30.4 inches
centered from Quebec through the Ohio Valley will slowly move to the
Eastern Seaboard on Wednesday. A trough of low pressure averaging
29.9 inches is developing over the western Plains. The trough and an
associated cold front are expected to push across Lake Michigan on
Wednesday, and then to the eastern Great Lakes and Quebec Wednesday
night. High pressure averaging 30.3 inches is then expected to build
across the western Great Lakes Thursday the eastern Great Lakes
Friday while low pressure of 29.3 inches tracks across the Central
Plains.

the afternoon. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft subsiding
to 4 to 7 ft occasionally to 9 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 kt becoming southeast to
30 kt overnight. Waves 1 to 2 ft building to 2 to 4 ft.
.FRIDAY...South gales to 40 kt. Chance of rain and snow showers
in the morning...then rain showers likely in the afternoon. Waves
6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South gales to 35 kt becoming west 15 to 25 kt
overnight. Rain showers. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft
subsiding to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
