FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.
.SYNOPSIS...
Southerly winds will increase through Tuesday as the pressure
gradient strengthens over Lake Michigan. This is due to a
departing surface high and weak low pressure around 29.6 inches
sliding across Lake Superior. Thursday into Friday morning, an
area of low pressure around 29.6 inches is forecast to cross Iowa
and northern Indiana. This will bring a period of modest
northeast to north winds to Lake Michigan and building waves.
