FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 INCH HIGH OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL SPREAD
OVER THE WESTERN LAKES FRIDAY MORNING AND THEN REACH THE CENTRAL
ATLANTIC STATES SATURDAY AFTERNOON. A WEAK LOW PRESSURE TROUGH
AVERAGING 29.8 INCHES STRETCHING FROM SOUTHERN QUEBEC THROUGH
NORTHERN LAKE MICHIGAN WILL SHIFT OVER SOUTHERN QUEBEC TONIGHT
AND CONTINUE NORTHEAST THROUGH SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED
WITH THE LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL SINK SOUTH ACROSS THE LAKE
REACHING THE SOUTHERN END OF THE LAKE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING. THE
NEXT LOW WILL MOVE OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS EARLY NEXT WEEK AND
PASS NORTH OF THE LAKE.
