FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.6 INCHES OVER NORTHERN LOWER
MICHIGAN WILL TRACK ACROSS LAKE ERIE EARLY EVENING WHILE DRAGGING
AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT DOWN THE LENGTH OF THE LAKE. INCREASING
NORTHWEST WINDS HAVE DEVELOPED IN THE STRENGTHENING PRESSURE
GRADIENT AHEAD OF THE MAIN COLD FRONT. WINDS WILL VEER NORTHERLY
AND CONTINUE TO INCREASE TO 30 KT...WITH OCCASIONAL GALE FORCE
GUSTS TO 35 KT TONIGHT FOLLOWING THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT.
STRONG WINDS WILL PERSIST INTO MONDAY MORNING...BUT SHOULD BEGIN
TO WEAKEN MONDAY AFTERNOON AS HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.2 INCHES SPREADS
ACROSS THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES. A
WEAK COLD FRONT AND SURFACE TROUGH AVERAGING 30.0 INCHES IS
EXPECTED TO MOVE DOWN THE LAKE TUESDAY. BY WEDNESDAY...THE HIGH
PRESSURE WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES REGION AND BECOME THE
DOMINANT FEATURE IMPACTING LAKE MICHIGAN THROUGH THE LATTER PART
OF THE WEEK AND INTO THE WEEKEND. WHILE THE HIGH PRESSURE
DOMINATES THE LAKE...WINDS SHOULD BECOME MORE LIGHT AND
VARIABLE...WITH MINIMAL WAVE ACTION.
