FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.5 inches over Lake Superior this
morning will move to western Quebec by tonight. An associated
sharp cold front trailing from this low will move across the lake
this afternoon and evening. High pressure of 30.8 inches will
build into the Upper Midwest Saturday while low pressure of 29.4
inches shifts through the Appalachian states. The high will move
into the Great Lakes region on Sunday. Another clipper like low
will quickly follow Sunday night into Monday.

this afternoon. Chance of rain this morning...then periods of
rain with a chance of light freezing rain this afternoon. Waves 6
to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
.TONIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 kt becoming north. Freezing
spray. Snow likely with pockets of sleet, rain and freezing rain
in the evening...then chance of snow overnight. Waves 8 to 11 ft
occasionally to 14 ft.
.FRIDAY...North gales to 35 kt. Freezing spray. Waves 8 to 12 ft
occasionally to 16 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North gales to 35 kt diminishing to 30 kt by
daybreak. Freezing spray. Chance of snow showers. Waves 8 to 11
ft occasionally to 14 ft.
.SATURDAY...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt.
