FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Expansive high pressure of 30.4 inches will settle over
the eastern Ohio Valley and mid Atlantic Coast through Friday.
Meanwhile, low pressure of 29.4 inches over northwestern Quebec
will move toward the Canadian Maritimes tonight into Wednesday. A
second and much stronger low averaging 28.8 inches will take a
similar track across northern Manitoba Wednesday to Hudson Bay on
Thursday. The cold front trailing from this low will move across
the lake Wednesday night into Thursday. Another strong low
pressure area will move across the Canadian Prairies on Friday and
Saturday and to Hudson Bay on Sunday, with its trailing cold
front crossing the lake over the weekend.

.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to 35 kt
by the late morning and then becoming south gales to 45 kt in the
afternoon. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft building to 10
to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest gales to 45 kt becoming west to
30 kt after midnight...then diminishing to 15 to 25 kt late.
Waves 12 to 16 ft occasionally to 20 ft subsiding to 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft.
.THURSDAY...West winds 15 to 25 kt. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally
to 8 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
