FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...THE COLD FRONT HAS PUSHED SOUTH OF LAKE MICHIGAN THIS
AFTERNOON WITH A WEAK RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE
WEST SIDE OF THE LAKE AND WISCONSIN WHILE A WEAK INVERTED TROUGH
OF LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE EASTERN SIDE OF THE LAKE AND
WESTERN LOWER MICHIGAN. THIS HAS SET UP A PATTERN OF ONSHORE FLOW
OVER LAKE MICHIGAN WITH LIGHT WINDS OVER THE CENTER OF THE LAKE
AND STRONGER WINDS NEAR THE SHORES. MEANWHILE...A LARGE AREA OF
HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.3 INCHES CENTERED JUST SOUTH OF JAMES BAY WILL
CONTINUE TO SLIDE TO THE SOUTHEAST. THE HIGH WILL MOVE TO NEW
ENGLAND FRIDAY AND OFF SHORE FRIDAY NIGHT. MEANWHILE...LOW
PRESSURE OF 29.4 INCHES IS DEVELOPING OVER THE SOUTHERN CANADIAN
ROCKIES. THIS LOW IS EXPECTED TO TRACK ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
CANADIAN PRAIRIES TONIGHT AND FRIDAY WHILE DRAGGING A COLD FRONT
ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS. ANOTHER LOW OF 29.4 INCHES IS EXPECTED
TO DEVELOP ON THE FRONT...OVER LAKE SUPERIOR...SATURDAY MORNING.
THIS LOW WILL THEN LIFT TO THE NORTHEAST ACROSS QUEBEC SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING WHILE DRAGGING THE COLD FRONT ACROSS THE
LAKE. HIGH PRESSURE OF 30.2 INCHES IS EXPECTED TO BUILD ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS AND WESTERN GREAT LAKES REGION SUNDAY AND THEN
SPREAD INTO THE OHIO VALLEY ON MONDAY.
