FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON LAKE MICHIGAN.

WAVES ARE PROVIDED AS A RANGE OF SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHTS...WHICH
IS THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 1/3 OF THE WAVES...ALONG
WITH THE AVERAGE HEIGHT OF THE HIGHEST 10 PERCENT OF THE WAVES
WHICH WILL OCCASIONALLY BE ENCOUNTERED.

.SYNOPSIS...LOW PRESSURE OF 29.8 INCHES JUST NORTH OF LAKE
SUPERIOR LATE TODAY WILL QUICKLY SCOOT EASTWARD TO WESTERN QUEBEC
BY OVERNIGHT AND WEAKEN AS IT DOES. AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL
MOVE ACROSS THE LAKE EARLY THIS EVENING, BRINGING BRIEF GALES TO
THE NORTH. STRONG ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE OF 31.0 INCHES WILL BUILD
INTO THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES BY MIDDAY FRIDAY AND GRADUALLY WEAKEN
TO 30.7 INCHES THROUGH SATURDAY. THE HIGH WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE
EAST OF THE LAKE ON MONDAY, AS LOW PRESSURE OF 29.8 INCHES TAKES
SHAPE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN PLAINS. THIS LOW WILL MOVE TO NEAR OR
OVER LAKE MICHIGAN BY TUESDAY NIGHT OR WEDNESDAY.
