FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of high pressure averaging 30.3 inches will
pass eastward over Lake Michigan this morning. Low pressure of
29.4 inches will develop over the far northern High Plains late
tonight and will track to James Bay by Wednesday evening. Another
low of 29.5 inches will move from the central Plains on Wednesday
night to Lake Superior by Thursday morning and to western Quebec
by Thursday night. An associated cold front trailing from this low
will move across the lake Thursday afternoon. High pressure of
30.8 inches will build into the Upper Midwest Saturday and to the
Great Lakes region on Sunday.

this afternoon. Winds increasing to 10 to 20 kt late this
afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 ft building to 2 to 4 ft late.
.TONIGHT...South winds 15 to 25 kt increasing to 30 kt after
midnight. Areas of fog and occasional drizzle overnight. Waves 3
to 5 ft building to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 11 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds to 30 kt. Occasional gale force gusts
through early afternoon. Areas of fog and occasional drizzle. A
chance of rain in the morning. Waves 8 to 11 ft occasionally to
14 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...South winds to 30 kt. Areas of fog. Occasional
drizzle with a chance of rain showers. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds to 30 kt becoming northwest late.
Rain showers. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.

chance of light rain. Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft.
